Marble Repair

Kauai Scratch Removal also specializes in chip repair and filling gouges as an alternative to honing. In some cases we can repair cracks and even some breaks depending on the variety of your marble, cause of the damage and the condition of the pieces or parts involved (marble is prone to "stun" marks which show bright white and are actually the crystals below the surface of the marble having shattered). Lippage Removal and Floor Flattening

Lippage is when tiles are uneven and not on the same plane, or more simply put, when some are maybe sitting a little high and/or some maybe sitting a little low. Even the best tile setters are hard pressed to set tile perfectly flat if it's not entirely impossible for a lot of reasons mostly out of their control. A little lippage is not unusual and often unnoticed. When the lippage is profound it can be a bit annoying at the minimum, or, if it's a little more severe it can greatly affect the overall appearance of the floor, especially if it is high polished, and become quite uncomfortable on ones feet and even a trip hazard. Kauai Scratch Removal can professionally grind your marble floor flat while removing lippage then bring your marble floors to your desired finish.
