Natural stone refinishing is the refining of the stone surface, usually to remove damage and wear and returning the stone surface to its original state or maybe just altering the sheen.

 

Most of time, our lower cost and more simple polishing methods are more than adequate to maintain the beauty, depth and clarity of your stone. However, even with regular maintenance and care, at some point, usually several years down the road, a floor or counter may need to be refinished to remove years of wear and abuse that these polishing methods weren't able to remove alone. This is performed with diamond resin pads, honing and polishing powders and compounds, as well as special grit brushes for uneven stones like slate, or flamed, antiqued or chiseled edge travertine for example.
